Συσκευάζεσθαι: ἐπιφέρεσθαι. Ξενοφῶν: ὁ Κῦρος ἔφη τοῖς στρατιώταις συσκευάζεσθαι σῖτα ἡμερῶν εἴκοσιν, οἶνον δὲ τοσοῦτον ἕκαστον χρή, ὅσος ἱκανός ἐστιν ἐθίσαι ἡμᾶς αὐτοὺς ὑδροποτεῖν.
