Greek Original:Ταραντενίδιον: λεπτὸν καὶ διαφανὲς ἱμάτιον, οὐ πάντως πορφυροῦν, ὥς τινες ὑπέλαβον. οὕτως Νικόστρατος. ἡ δὲ τὸ διάδημα, ὅπερ οὖν ἐπὶ τῆς κεφαλῆς εἶχε σύμβολον δὴ καὶ μαρτύριον ἀρχῆς, περισπάσασα, εἶτα μέντοι τῷ τραχήλῳ περιβαλοῦσα [τὸ δὲ ἦν ταραντενίδιον λεπτόν τε καὶ ἀσθενές], ἐπεὶ μόνον ἐτάθη, κᾆτα ἀπορρήγνυται. ἡ δὲ περιαλγεῖ.
