Translation: The crop.[1] They say trychnon as a [sc. accusative] feminine, not a neuter. I did not find anywhere strychnon [spelled] with the s.[2] Also [sc. the correct form is discernible] from the saying "more delicate than a trychnos". In parody the comic poet says "now I am more cultured than a trychnos".[3]
