Notes:
Aristophanes, Clouds 818-819 (with scholion) -- but here both abridged and with the opening noun corrupted from μωρίας to the nonsensical μυρίας . See web address 1.
Despite the form of the gloss, there is no sign that this phrase became proverbial.
