Translation: He was the son of
Zeus. But he thought himself worthy of the gods' table and he divulged their mysteries; and on account of this he is punished in the houses of judgement below the earth. He has a stone hanging above him and below him he has plenty of water and fruit-bearing plants. So if he wanted to drink the water, the stone would fall on him. He was consumed with thirst, seeing what he needed to eat and drink, but not being able to. As soon as he touched the pool with his beard, his chin would be dry.
