Τρίμμα: ὁ τετριμμένος ἐν τοῖς πράγμασι. καὶ παρ' Ἀριστοφάνει ἐν Νεφέλαις: λέγειν γενήσῃ τρίμμα. τουτέστι τετριμμένος, ἱκανὸς καὶ δεινὸς ἔσῃ λέγειν. καὶ Δημοσθένης ἐν τῷ Περὶ τοῦ στεφάνου ὡς ἰταμοῦ καὶ ἀναισχύντου ῥήτορος καθαπτόμενος Αἰσχίνου, περίτριμμα ἀγορᾶς αὐτὸν καλεῖ.
