Notes:
The headword phrase, here unglossed, recurs (glossed) at upsilon 46. The double-delta spelling of the infinitive is otherwise unattested (cf. upsilon 41, upsilon 42). A Christian hymn is reported with the verse ὕδειν ἔοικε τὴν φυσίζωον κόρην "[someone] is like to praise the life-giving Maiden" (Etymologicum Gudianum and Gregorius Pardus); Adler says John of Damascus, Canons 3.126.
