Orléans, Archives départementales du Loiret, D 213 (Liber procuratorum I), fol. 62:
Declaration by Tinctoris concerning his period as procurator of the
German Nation at the University of Orléans, 1 April 1462 (1463 new style);
in Tinctoris's own hand, bottom two-thirds of page (excluding marginalia and other later annotations):
'Valvas anno frangentis tipicas ... xxia mensis die maii.' . The beginning of the second line
shows the closest we have to a Tinctoris signature.
